Based on Matan Levkowichs’s personal experience as a dancer and soldier, the performer examines in “Function Man” the physical militarization in politics and art. Under the assumption that intensive dance training can change the body as enduringly as intensive training in the event of war, Matan Levkowichs takes it on himself to search for sense and nonsense in the uncompromising drills.
